We run a Community Café every Sunday at central hall!

The Community Café is a weekly café offering a free hot meal to anyone in need, and serves 70-100 guests each week, including people who are homeless, vulnerably housed or lonely. The café aims to provide a safe and friendly environment where everyone is welcome and respected, regardless of beliefs, background or situation. The café is run entirely by volunteers, and has grown substantially since it started in 2007. It is entirely funded by New Community Church.

New Volunteers Needed!

We are looking for more kitchen leads: couples or friends willing to cook once every 6/7 weeks.
We could also looking for more kitchen helpers to enable us to form additional teams. Kitchen helpers assist in the preparation of the meals and help with the clearing and washing up between 2.30 and 6.30pm.

If you are interested in joining the team, please get in touch with Katrina Mack or click the button at the bottom of the page.
