A New Primary School in the Heart of the City
New Community Network is the partner church of a brand new state-funded primary school in Southampton!
About the school:
Hope Community School is Southampton’s first mainstream Free School, and is a state-funded primary school for children aged 4-11 years. The school opened in September 2017, welcoming its first group of children into the reception class.
Hope Community School is sponsored by New Generation Schools Trust, who established the school in recognition of the need for an additional educational choice in the city centre of Southampton. This new school is designated as of religious character, and is open to children of any or no faith.

In addition, our Central Hall premises is the temporary site for the school for 2-3 years, until the facility on the permanent site on Chapel Road has been built.
Hope Community School also support our Tiny Treasures parent and toddler group, held at Central Hall.
