We're off to Wildfires Festival 2020, and we'd love you to join us!

We were one of the churches that pioneered the first festival which took place in 2018, and many of us went again in 2019 and enjoyed a fantastic time of community, worship, Bible teaching and fun. Make sure you book for 2020!

What is Wildfires Festival?


"Like a wildfire the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks." (Acts 2:3)

Widlfires is an innovative and affordable festival, bringing communities together to experience God's presence, and creating an environment for life-changing encounters with God.

This event has been born out of a desire to:

  • strengthen friendships, with specially designed villages set around communal campfires, BBQ facilities, and 'village halls'.
  • seek God's face, with an authentic and empowering programme of speakers, Bible teachers, and worshippers, and plenty of space for the Holy Spirit to work and lead. 
  • invest in our young people, with world-class creative and engaging programmes for children and youth, to inspire them into a place of encounter, friendship and discipleship.

2020's Widlfires Festival will be held in the May half-term holiday, and we'd love as many people as possible from New Community Church to be part of it. We'll be camping together, so it's a great way to make friends and grow in community.

If you purchase a Whole Event ticket, you will also receive free admission to the Big Church Day Out South (BCDO) event, held in the same venue on the two days prior to Wildfires.

Make sure you book your tickets as soon as possible to take advantage of the discounted rates. We'd love to see you there!

When: 25th-27th May 2020. Whole Event tickets include admission to the Big Church Day Out South on 23rd and 24th May.
Where: Wiston House, Steyning Road, Steyning, West Sussex, BN44 3DZ.
Cost: £79 per adult for the whole event, plus camping fees (£40 per adult) and service charge (10%), if you book by 1st July 2019. Discounts are offered for children, youth, students and carers.
What you'll need: If you're attending for the whole event, you'll need to bring camping equipment (a tent/caravan, sleeping bag, etc.), as well as your personal belongings. On-site caterers will have food and drinks for sale, but you may want to bring you own. 
To book: Please book your tickets through the Wildfires site, and choose 'New Community - Southampton' as the church you are attending with, to ensure you are booked as part of our group.
