The Week of Guided Prayer is a brand new prayer opportunity coming out of our House of Prayer initiative.
Held during Holy Week (14th to 20th April 2019), and running alongside your normal daily life, this fantastic prayer opportunity will help you to deepen your prayer life and explore new ways to pray, with an individual prayer companion to support and encourage you throughout the week.
Committing some time each day to pray (for up to half an hour).
Attending an introductory meeting at Central Hall on Sunday 14th April at 3pm, where you'll learn more about the week and also meet your prayer guide.
Attending a closing celebration at Central Hall on Saturday April 20th at 11am.
Meeting with your prayer companion for about half an hour on each day (Mon-Fri). This will be in a location and at a time that suits you both.
Talking with your prayer companion about how your prayer time has gone, being listened to and encouraged to make sense of where God is in your life. You will be given ideas and materials to help you if that is needed.
The knowledge that all that is said is confidential, and that there is no right or wrong way to pray, as everyone’s experience is unique.
