Bible on a Striped Tablecloth

Prayer School with Brian Zahnd

Find out how you can actively engage in a deeper and richer prayer life, at our Prayer School this October!

Together with our friends at Southampton Vineyard Church, we're hosting this two-day event, which will be led by Brian Zahnd, founder and lead pastor of Word of Life Church, Missouri. The Prayer School is designed to help you gain a fresh perspective on the purpose of prayer, and to provide you with a valuable and sustainable framework for both your personal and community prayer life.

The Friday evening will be a more informal session, where Brian Zahnd and Brad Jersak (an author and teacher based in Abbotsford, Canada) will share the learnings from their respective faith journeys. For Brian, this is a journey from what he refers to as the “easy cheesy cotton-candy Christianity” that he initially used to build one of the USA's fastest-growing evangelical megachurches, to a more contemplative, sacramental and richer Christian faith. Brad's similarly varied faith journey has included charismatic evangelism, anabaptism, church planting among the marginalised and poor, and landing in the Eastern Orthodox Church.

On the Saturday there will be three 90-minute sessions, where Brian will draw on the prayer habits that a lifetime of pastoral ministry has helped him develop.

Lunch will be provided on the Saturday and is included in your ticket price. Central Coffee (our on-site coffee shop) will also be open for purchase of drinks and light refreshments. While families are important to us, unfortunately there are no childcare facilities provided during the Prayer School.
