We’re off to New Wine United 2019 this summer and we'd love you to join us there!
The New Wine United events are weeklong Christian festivals, where people from across the UK join together to enjoy passionate worship, access top-quality Bible teaching and ministry, and get spiritually recharged ready to go back to mission in their local communities. Exciting, age-appropriate activities are provided for children and youth, so the gatherings provide a great week away for the whole family.
This year New Wine will be celebrating its 30th anniversary, and it will also be its first year on a new site in Peterborough, so make sure you don't miss this one!
There are usually a lot of people from our church going, so the week away provides a great opportunity to enjoy community and to get to know others better. The majority of people attending New Wine camp onsite, with church groups camping together in mini villages, but you can also book a local hotel, B&B or cottage and just attend during the day, if camping doesn’t suit.
If you’re keen to get stuck in, volunteering with a team in an area such as hospitality, children’s work, stewarding, or ministry means you’ll get to meet lots of new people. You’ll also get your ticket and meals paid for!
We'd love to see you there!
When: We're going to be attending Week 1, which will run from Saturday 27th July to Friday 2nd August 2019.
Where: The East of England Showground, Peterborough, PE2 6HE.
Cost: If you are wanting to camp on-site, only team places are available now, so you'll need to volunteer with a team if you'd like to camp and haven't yet booked. Alternatively, limited day and evening tickets are available for adults who will stay off-site.
What’s included: Tickets include access to meetings and events, and full-event tickets also include a camping pitch. Showers, flush toilets, water taps and waste disposal points are provided for campers. If you volunteer with a team, meals are also provided. If you purchase day- or evening-only tickets, you'll need to book accommodation off-site separately.
What you'll need: If you're camping on-site, you'll need to bring camping equipment (a tent/caravan, sleeping bag, etc.), as well as your personal belongings. On-site caterers will have food and drinks for sale, but you may want to bring you own.
To book: Please go to the Week 1 section of the New Wine website for booking information.
