On Sunday 21st July, the Let's Ride Southampton cycling festival will be taking place in the city centre, involving several road closures near Central Hall. Make sure you plan your journey to church that day in advance.
We'll still be holding our Sunday service at Central Hall at 10am, but several of the roads around the building will be closed all day (e.g. Kingsway, Threefield Lane and Terminus Terrace). Chapel Road will also be turned into a one-way street for the day, meaning that access to Central Hall's car park from that road will be westbound only. On-street parking will be extremely limited, and priority for our car park will be given to those with limited mobility or with heavy equipment to unload.
We're advising you to cycle, walk or take public transport to church on that day. If you do need to drive, you should be able to park in one of the West Quay car parks and walk down to Central Hall from there. Or why not make a day of it - cycle to church in the morning and then go and check out the free cycling festival after the service? It'll be running until 3pm, with live music, local street food and fun activities for all ages.
