Youth Weekend Away Booking Deadline

This is the last date you can book for our youth weekend away in February 2020. More details are on the Youth Weekend Away event page.

God's House Christmas Party 10:00 AM

Our children's Christmas party, with games, Christmas crafts, and lots of fun. Children are invited to come dressed in a Christmassy outfit. The party will take place during God's House, at Central Hall. For more information, please email nextgen@newcommunity.org.uk.

Awaken 7:00 PM

A new monthly celebration, held at Central Hall, with exciting guest speakers. This month, Ness Wilson, leader of Pioneer UK, will be speaking. All welcome! Find out more on our Awaken event page.

An evening with opportunity to go deeper with God together. Join us at Central Hall (entry through the rear car park door). All welcome.

Youth Christmas Dinner 7:00 - 9:00 PM

Our youth Christmas dinner, with food, quizzes, and more! Youth are invited to come dressed in something Christmassy. Held in the Small Hall, Central Hall, and tickets (£3 each) need to be booked in advance. For more information, please email nextgen@newcommunity.org.uk.

SHOLING: Little Movie Night 5:45 PM

A short film and light refreshments for toddlers and their families, held at St. Andrew's, Sholing. This 'Little Movie Night' takes place before the main family movie. Full details on our Family Movie Nights page.

SHOLING: Family Movie Night 6:30 PM

A free family film night at St. Andrew's, Sholing. The evening includes a free hot dog, drink and some popcorn for each person. Full details on our Family Movie Nights page.

Harvesters Walk 10:00 AM

A monthly walk for anyone who enjoys walking in the countryside with friends. The walks are organised by Christians from different local churches, are usually followed by a pub lunch, and are a great activity to invite non-Christian friends to. There will be no 10am meeting at Central Hall today, as we are holding our big Christmas Celebration in the evening instead.

Christingle Service at St Andrew's 10:30 AM

An all-age Christingle service, where we’ll be telling the gospel story using Christingles as a symbol of Jesus coming to earth as the Light of the World. Held at St. Andrew's, Sholing. Everyone's welcome!

Christmas Celebration at Central Hall 6:00 PM

Our big Christmas celebration, entitled 'Christmas Past, Present and Future', and featuring festive carols, Christmas readings, video snippets and more! Held at Central Hall. Everyone welcome!

Family Nativity Service at Central Hall 10:00 AM

An all-age service with an instant pop-up nativity play. Children are invited to come dressed as a nativity character, and the nativity story will then be retold interactively alongside a time of worship (including some favourite carols). Held at Central Hall. All welcome!

Family Nativity Service at St Andrew's 10:30 AM

An all-age service with an instant pop-up nativity play, followed by Christmas refreshments. Children are invited to come dressed as a nativity character, and the nativity story will then be retold interactively alongside a time of worship (including some favourite carols). Held at St. Andrew's, Sholing. All welcome!

A short, all-age service to celebrate Jesus' birth. Held at Central Hall. Everyone's welcome.

Our Christmas Café, offering a free hot meal and a welcoming place for anyone in need on Christmas Day. Held at Central Hall (St. Mary Street, Southampton, SO14 1NF). Full details on our Christmas Café page.

CENTRAL: No 10am Service at Central Hall Today

There will be no 10am meeting at Central Hall today. Instead, we are holding a church walk (details below).

Church Walk in the Woods 10:30 AM

A church walk through the woods on a gravel path (for about an hour and a half). For the walk, meet at 10.30am in the West Walk, Forest of Bere, car park (Hundred Acres Road, Wickham, Fareham). This will be followed by bring-and-share lunches at three homes across the city from 1pm (locations of the lunches to be confirmed). All welcome!

Wildfires Festival Early-Bird Booking Deadline

If you're planning to join us at Wildfires (a Christian festival for all ages) next summer, make sure you book your tickets by the 31st December to take advantage of the early-bird booking discount. We'd love as many people as possible from New Community Church to be part of this festival, and we'll be camping together at the event. Full details are on our Widlfires Festival event page.
