Our Sunday Service

We meet on Sunday mornings at 10am (Central Hall, St. Mary Street, Southampton, SO14 1NF) for vibrant worship, practical Bible-based teaching, opportunity for prayer, and time to interact with others and build friendships. There are also groups for children and youth, with fun, age-appropriate activities. We'd love you to join us!

    Meet the Team

    Billy Kennedy

    Billy is part of the Central Congregation Leadership Team, a senior leader of New Community Church, a New Community Network trustee, and the leader of the Pioneer network of churches. He is also an Ecumenical Canon, and is one of the Presidents of Churches Together in England.

    Meet the Team

    Caroline Kennedy

    Caroline is part of both the Central Congregation Leadership Team, and the New Community Church Leadership Team, helping to provide leadership, direction and oversight to the church. Together with her husband, Billy, she also leads the Pioneer network of churches.

    Theo Amer

    Theo is part of both the Central Congregation Leadership Team, and also the New Community Church Leadership Team, helping to provide spiritual oversight and direction to the church. In addition, Theo holds the role of Executive Leader of New Community Church.

    Adam Clewer

    As part of the Central Congregation Leadership Team, Adam oversees the congregation's programme, as well as all aspects of youth and student work, and local mission. Adam is also part of the wider New Community Church Leadership Team.

    Sarah Amer

    As part of the Central Congregation Leadership Team, Sarah oversees all aspects of worship, including worship at the Sunday meeetings. She is also part of the New Community Church Leadership Team.

    John Deagle

    As part of the Central Congregation Leadership Team, John has particular responsibility for providing pastoral support and direction to the congregation. He runs a number of regular groups, such as The Hub and Dock Gate 1, and also organises one-off courses and events.

    Shirley is part of the Central Congregation Leadership Team, and has responsibility for connect groups, helping people to integrate into a midweek group where they can get to know others better and grow in their faith.
