Alpha is a free course for anyone who wants to explore life's big questions and the foundations of the Christian faith in a no-pressure, no-commitment setting.
Who it's for: Open to all, regardless of faith or beliefs.
What to expect: Approximately six to ten weekly sessions that usually include a meal or snack, a short talk about the Christian faith, and an opportunity for discussion in small groups.
Cost: The course is free, and usually includes free coffee and cake, or a meal.
Other information: We hold courses in different locations across Southampton and Eastleigh, and in a variety of venues (homes, churches and even coffee shops like Starbucks). Courses generally run two or three times a year, and are usually on weekday evenings.

New Community Central Alpha Course
Our Central Southampton congregation have just started a new course which is open to anyone, regardless of whether you attend the Central congregation or not. Held in the contemporary setting of our coffee shop, 'Central Coffee', and with free coffee and cake, this course offers a relaxed environment and plenty of opportunity for discussion and to ask questions.
The first evening was 26th April, but it's not too late to join the course. Why not consider who you could invite to come and give it a try?
When: Wednesday evenings, from 26th April until 31st May (six sessions in total).
