Missional Communities

As a church, we have a vision to see lives changed and communities transformed by the love of Jesus. We want to see church communities established in every part of our local area, so that more people can find out about Jesus.

Missional communities are smaller church communities, usually made up of people with something particular in common; this may be a certain location, a language, or a culture, for example. The missional community shares the good news about Jesus in a way that is relevant to that group of people, and this may take a format that differs from the idea of a traditional church service, perhaps using crafts, story-telling or discussion to help people grow in their faith.

As with any community, friendships and positive relationships are integral to missional communities, and activities like sharing a meal together or carrying out craft activities, help to promote the building of relationships.

You can find out more about the different missional communities we are involved with, below.
