At New Community, we're aiming to develop a culture in our church community that will support healthy attitudes and actions, improving our ability to care for the whole person, including their mental health and wellbeing.
Last year in May we started this conversation, looking at our awareness, our attitudes and culture, and engaged with a large group across the church.
We’d like to continue this conversation, recapping briefly on our first meeting and letting you know what has been happening over the last year as we’ve started to work with various groups across the church. We will also share some of the questions we’ve been grappling with, and then look forward to the next steps on this journey
The evening will be facilitated by a range of mental health professionals, alongside pastoral input. We’d love you to join us, become more confident, and help to shape the church community for the future.
