About Us

About Us

NewCommunityChurch is part of the New Community family of church congregations, missional communities and projects serving the wider Southampton area. We partner locally with City Life Church, James Street Church, the Methodist Church and Oasis Community Learning to enable us to serve, more effectively, the communities of Eastleigh, West End, Lordshill, Bargate, Swaythling, Sholing, Netley, Woolston and Chandler's Ford.

We are members of the Southampton Christian Network and part of the Pioneer Network.

Children's Programme

Children are an important part of New Community Central. We encourage them to grow in their relationship with God in our all age worship time on Sunday mornings and through teaching and activities in their age groups.

Our children’s ministry is run by an experienced team of volunteers who have all been vetted and checked as suitable to work with children. They are the ones wearing our distinctive light blue T-shirts on Sunday mornings.

Students' Programme

We love students at New Community Church. In fact, it was students who were involved in the beginnings of our church community, and now over 35 years later, our rich student heritage continues. We would love for you to be part of that!

At New Community, we want help our students connect with our church community, grow in their faith, and become empowered to impact the world around them. We organise lots of social activities to help our students get to know other people and make friends, and also run specific student connect groups where students can discuss their faith and grow in their relationship with God.
