churchwithoutwallsMiracle Street's 10 Year Anniversary

Miracle Street is nearly 10 years old! It is amazing to think back to the Saturday mornings on Southampton Shopping precinct with a dedicated group of friends. I had a dream early in 1997 in which I saw myself preaching on the streets with the words ‘Miracle Street taking the church to the people’ on a banner above me, I took it literally and ordered the banner. Today the logo still has the same words on it. I had been presenting the Gospel on the streets for nearly 10 years at that point but this was the beginning of the work as we now know it. I still go down to that site sometimes and remember the moments when the legitamacy of my birth was questioned on numerous occasions! The guy who sells the Southampton Echo is still there; I remember praying with him 17 years ago.

As I write this I feel more focused than ever on my calling as an evangelist. God has placed some wonderful resources at our disposal and a dedicated and loyal group of friends who have walked beside me often through times of struggle and self doubt. To mark the 10th Anniversary of Miracle Street's inception we felt to mark the event with a specific statement of intent. The '10th Anniversary Push' reflects our desire to position ourselves for future expansion and to invest in our equipment base to ensure we are ready for the next phase. We are looking at significant growth over the next few months in staffing, office costs and the many event budgets that are necessary for us to operate in different places, often simultaneously. Would you consider standing with us financially as we do that?
